1. About Loventa

Loventa (“we”, “our”, “us”) is a UK-registered marketplace that connects customers with independent local florists, bakeries, and gift shops. We operate the platform at loventa.co.uk and associated subdomains.

2. Acceptance

By using Loventa you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform. We may update these Terms from time to time; continued use after any update constitutes acceptance.

3. Orders and Payments

Orders are placed directly with independent shops via our platform. Loventa collects payment on behalf of shops using Stripe. By placing an order you enter into a contract with the relevant shop, not with Loventa.

Prices are displayed inclusive of VAT where applicable. Delivery fees are set by individual shops and displayed clearly at checkout.

4. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellations may be made before a shop accepts your order. Once accepted, cancellations are at the shop's discretion. For perishable goods (flowers, cakes), returns are generally not possible unless the item arrived damaged or incorrect — please contact us within 24 hours in such cases.

5. Shop Owners

Shops on Loventa are independent businesses responsible for their own products, fulfilment, and compliance with UK food and consumer law. Loventa is not liable for the actions or omissions of individual shops, but we take quality seriously and will investigate complaints.

6. Intellectual Property

All Loventa branding, design, and software is our property. You may not reproduce or use it without prior written permission. Product images remain the property of the respective shops.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by UK law, Loventa's liability is limited to the value of the relevant order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
