Loventa

Cookie Policy

Last updated: 6 November 2026

Loventa does not set advertising or analytics cookies. We use your browser's storage for a few things the site needs to work, listed below.

Draft for legal review. This text describes how Loventa works today, but it has not yet been reviewed by a solicitor and may change before it becomes final.

1. Cookies and local storage

Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser. Local storage does a similar job but stays on your device and is not sent with every request. Loventa sets no cookies of its own: it uses local and session storage only, and this policy covers both.

2. What we store

  • loventa_tokenLocal storage · essential

Keeps you signed in between visits. Removed when you sign out.

  • loventa_userLocal storage · essential

Your basic account details (such as name and email), so pages can show you are signed in.

  • loventa-cart-v3Local storage · essential

Your basket, so items stay there if you close the tab before checkout.

  • loventa-locationLocal storage · essential

The postcode or area you chose, so we show businesses that deliver to you.

  • loventa-recently-viewedLocal storage · essential

The last products you looked at, shown back to you on shop and product pages.

  • loventa_cookie_consentLocal storage · essential

Remembers that you have seen the cookie notice.

  • push_registeredLocal storage · essential

Only if you allow notifications: stops us registering your device more than once. Firebase also keeps your device's notification token in the browser's IndexedDB.

  • loventa-placed-ordersSession storage · essential

The orders you have just placed, so the confirmation page can list each one. Cleared when you close the tab.

3. Payments

You pay on Stripe’s own checkout page. Stripe may set cookies on its domain there to prevent fraud; see Stripe’s Cookie Policy.

4. Why we do not ask for consent

Everything above is strictly necessary for a service you asked for (signing in, your basket, your delivery area), so UK PECR does not require consent for it. We list it here so you know exactly what is stored.

5. Clearing it

You can delete it at any time in your browser’s settings under site data (Chrome: Privacy and security; Firefox: Privacy & Security; Safari: Privacy, Manage Website Data). This signs you out and empties your basket; your account, orders and saved addresses are kept on our servers.
